Die Begegnungszone in der unteren Altstadt von Burgdorf ist seit 2004 versuchsweise in Betrieb. Der Entscheid über die definitive Einführung steht noch aus, dürfte aber in der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 2006 erfolgen.
